Walt Mesik Joins Aquaflex (June 2008)
DUNCANSVILLE, PA—Industry veteran Walt Mesik joins Aquaflex as Sales Engineer serving the southeastern US market.
Walt Mesik has held various technical positions with Webtron, Aquaflex, and Nilpeter and is also the founder/engineer of Flexo Solutions, Inc., a provider of consulting services to the flexo industry. Mr. Mesik is a specialist in multiple web applications and flexible substrates and is experienced in maintenance and engineering.
Mr. Mesik said, “I started out as a printer 23 years ago so I have a pretty good idea of the kind of challenges that printers face in the every-day real world. I’ve been fortunate to have served in technical positions with a number of press manufacturers over the years—one of which was Aquaflex. That was long before F. L. Smithe acquired the company in 2003."
Mesik continued, “Today Aquaflex has not only been re-born under F. L. Smithe, it has earned the bragging rights to be called a technology leader in the industry. It’s rare to find this depth of engineering experience among press manufacturers. I’m looking forward to working with our customers, understanding their challenges, and creating specific printing solutions to overcome those challenges. I’m also very excited about coming home to Aquaflex."
